Grapat German Perpetual Calendar

This wooden calendar toy is now available in Deutsche. This German language Grapat toy set includes 12 Nins in 12 colours, 1 beech wood bowl, 2 wooden cubes and a circular 4 piece month platform.

Each coloured Nin or peg doll figure represents a month of the year according to Waldorf teachings. Along with the wooden cube the day of the month and the month of the year can be displayed in German. This gives children a physical reference point that they can use to touch the day with and develop and understanding of the passing of time. This is a beautiful tactile piece that can also be used for play and makes a great gift for German speakers and learners.

Recommended for 12+ months. Nins measure 6cm in height. Grapat toys are hand made using natural wood and water based stain. Colours and wood grains vary as does life itself. Over time wood can wear with play.

Please note: due to distribution restrictions we cannot send Grapat toys to addresses outside of the UK and EU.
